Business Sector Core & Shell Practice Director
Rick established his reputation in workplace design in 2002 when he joined Henderson the director of Houston operations. A few years later, Rick was instrumental in expanding the company by moving to North Texas and assuming a new role as director of Dallas operations in 2006. Now, almost 20 years later, Rick is our business sector core and shell practice director. He is a strong advocate for blending functionality with form to develop product that not only achieves clients’ goals and visions, but also includes progressive consultation for enhanced value to the marketplace. Rick uses these values to lead his team in delivering quality client-focused design solutions in commercial real estate.

Rick is no stranger to working on complex projects either. His portfolio includes several high-profile, landmark projects, including the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters in Frisco, the broad mixed-use offerings of the Grandscape development in The Colony, as well as multiple high-rise corporate build-to-suit international developments. Prior to Henderson, Rick's career focused on engineering services for commercial real estate in fast-pace tenant interior fit-out and remodel projects as well as core and shell office building projects. Rick’s experience in servicing the needs of both the tenants and landlords provided him with the foundational knowledge of commercial real estate from all aspects of development, operations, and tenant affairs. No matter the project, big or small, Rick leads his team with a spirit of devotion, creativity, and humility — the driving forces behind Henderson.
