Ryan Peterson takes a technical and collaborative approach to his role as practice director at Henderson Engineers. He leads the Walmart client sector, overseeing models and special projects while ensuring teams deliver thoughtful, effective solutions. Ryan and his family moved from Jacksonville, FL to Kansas City, MO after being drawn to Henderson’s employee-owned structure and focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumping (MEP) engineering, as well as the long tenures, passion, and excitement of the people he met during the interview process.
Over the years, mentorship has been a meaningful part of Ryan’s career, and he takes great pride in seeing other engineers grow into successful leaders. When he’s not at work, he enjoys spending time with his kids and often takes on home or automative projects. He also has a passion for cooking, grilling, and smoking flavorful meals.
