HCA Healthcare Recognizes Henderson as Choice Partner

Henderson Engineers and Henderson Building Solutions, its wholly-owned construction management subsidiary, have officially been listed as choice partners by HCA Healthcare’s Capital Deployment division. The division oversees design and construction for the renowned healthcare operator, which runs 185 hospitals and more than 2,000 clinics and sites of care in the U.S. and the United Kingdom.

“As a healthcare provider, it’s important to partner with firms that align with our goal to deliver the best facilities for the patients and the communities we serve,” said Barry Ambuehl, director of engineering at HCA. “Henderson Engineers and Henderson Building Solutions fit that mold. No matter the scope of the project, we always know we can count on their expertise to help enhance the care we provide. This recognition as choice partners is very well deserved.”

Henderson and Henderson Building’s work with HCA dates back more than two decades. During that period, the two firms have collaboratively worked on infrastructure improvements for existing HCA facilities as well as new construction, remodels, and major expansions. Altogether, they have provided acoustics, code consulting, commissioning, construction management, electrical, fire and life safety, mechanical, plumbing, and security services for 200 HCA projects and counting.

“Receiving formal recognition as a choice partner to HCA Healthcare’s Capital Deployment group is a major milestone for our team,” said Mark Chrisman, healthcare practice director for Henderson and Henderson Building. “We’re committed to building a better world and providing high quality healthcare environments for HCA undoubtedly helps achieve that. Thank you to the HCA Capital Deployment team for their continued trust and collaboration. We look forward to many more successful projects together.”
