Yamil Camacho, retail sector project manager at Henderson Engineers, has been selected as a 2024 recipient of the 30 Under 30 Award by Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M) magazine, a notable trade publication. The award recognizes young professionals from across the electrical industry who stand out for their “innovation, efficiency, and creativity.”
A member of Team Henderson since 2017, Camacho has quickly blossomed into one of the most promising up-and-coming leaders at the firm. In addition to working on innovative retail projects nationwide such as the first ever large format Wayfair flagship store, he helps lead Henderson’s Real Bright Futures program, which involves hosting interactive events at underserved schools to introduce students to engineering. Outside of work, Camacho serves as Signature Events Board Chair for genKC, the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s professional development arm. He’s also a 2024 graduate of the AIA (American Institute of Architects) Kansas City Pillars Leadership Program, an initiative focused on cultivating future leaders within the building industry.
