Data Center - Confidential Insurance Company

With customer service as a top priority, this Confidential Insurance Company provides solutions to clients spanning 21 states. Understanding the critical need for secure information and redundancy, Henderson Engineers worked hand-in-hand with our sister company, Henderson Building Solutions, to provide them with a new headquarters data center that included a compete fiber backbone system and N+1 redundancy throughout. Scope also included coordination of systems within data center space with main building engineers.

Henderson worked with main site engineering group to coordinate the seamless mix of design services including the design for power feeders to IDF closets fed from the data center UPS systems. We also provided commissioning testing of the data center equipment as well as verifying the data center systems were properly integrated with main building systems. Project management services for the data center’s construction administration included conceptual design assistance, equipment specifications, and project budget estimates. We also provided building systems design services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and life safety.
